74th West Florida Livestock Show and Sale to take place

The 74th West Florida Livestock Show and Sale will take place Saturday, March 3 at the William M. Inman Agricultural Center (2140 W. Jefferson Street) in Quincy.

Approximately 40 youth from the Quincy 4-H organization will be exhibiting steers, heifers and swine at the show.The swine show will start at 9 a.m., the steer show will start at 1 p.m. and the beef heifer show will start at 2:30 p.m.

A barbecue supper will be served at 5 p.m.

The awards program and the sale of the animals will follow the barbecue supper.

The West Florida Livestock Show and Sale is put on by the West Florida Livestock Association Inc., in cooperation with the Florida Cooperative Extension Service, the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners, the Gadsden County Chamber of Commerce and the State Department of Agriculture.
