The Havana Town Council will be holding a Havana Recreation Fun Day for the children of Havana from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.
Havana Recreation Fun Day will be held at Gus Bert Ball Field Park (off of Iron Bridge Road between 9th Avenue East and 11th Avenue East).
Recently, the Havana Town Council established a recreation committee and its first initiative, after holding two public meetings, was to focus on bringing children out in order to make them more active.
There will be eight various sporting activities at the Fun Day and the recreational committee will take the feedback from the event to further improve recreation efforts in Havana.
