Young Jaguars flocked to the Gadsden County High School gymnasium in droves this past week, their sights set squarely on the future. Representatives from dozens of colleges and universities, as well as the U.S. Armed Services, state and local government and other organizations were on site to share the myriad opportunities for post-secondary education and careers available to today’s high school grads. With so many booths and attendees, the career fair was no doubt a massive undertaking. But Gadsden County High School senior and Student Government Association president T’onj McGriff pulled it off with flying colors, according to school administrators. McGriff near-single-handedly organized organized the career fair for her fellow Jaguars.
