Jackson Machado picked up a pair of pitching wins, hammered six hits and drove in 10 runs combined in a pair of Munroe baseball wins last week.

Tuesday, Machado got the pitching win, had three hits (including a double and a triple) and plated seven runs in a 21-2 lacing of Tallavana Christian.

Machado came back in a Friday 12-7 victory over FAMU to collect another pitching win with a 12-strike out performance. He also had three hits and three runs- batted-in during the game.

Machado wasn’t the only Bobcat with multiple hits in the contests. Ben Fletcher had four hits in the Talla- vana game and knocked in four runs, and Steven Bur- dick had four hits (including a double) against FAMU.

Gadsden High also played two games last week, losing to Malone 20-5 Tuesday and to Rickards 18-3 Friday.

Trayieo Dubose and Damon Williams had two hits each against Malone. Chris Jones had a pair of hits in the Rickards game.

Today (Thursday) Munroe will host a rematch against Tallavana Christian. They also will host Wakulla Chris- tian Friday and Poplar Springs Tuesday at Bradford May Field in Quincy.

Gadsden High played at Jefferson County Tuesday and Godby Wednesday. They host Rickards Friday and will meet Bethleham at Corry Field n Quincy Tuesday.

Tallavana played at FAMU Tuesday before meeting Munroe today. They will host Altha next Tuesday.
