A vehicle wreck that took place on early Sunday morning, April 4, ended with one fatality and two seriously injured passengers, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The report issued by state troopers on Sunday says that a driver and two passengers were traveling west on West King Street, in Quincy, at around 4:35 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the roadway and collided into a standing fence.
After colliding into the fence, the vehicle then continued to travel west, until it collided with a tree.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that troopers were uncertain on why the vehicle initially left the roadway.
When first responders arrived at the scene, they reported that the drive of the vehicle had already suffered fatal injuries, and both passengers were transported to the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
The identity and age of the driver and two passengers were, as of the Florida Highway Patrol’s report, unknown.
First responders at the scene were the Florida Highway Patrol, the Quincy Police Department, the Gadsden County Fire Department, Gadsden County Emergency Medical Services, and the Gadsden County Sheriff’s Office.
