The Veterans Memorial Railroad in Bristol is offering a “Wear Green and Ride the Steam” program from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 10 in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
The crown jewel of the railroad, a coal-fired steam engine, costs $10 per person per ride (kids 2-and-under ride free).
In addition, there will be free non-steam train rides that day since the railroad does free non-steam train rides every second Saturday of the month from February through November.
Donations are greatly appreciated.
