Enrollment is underway for the upcoming summer program at AmiKids Gadsden.
Students ages 11-17 will have an opportunity to learn valuable skills in culinary arts and information technology, as well as getting industry certification.
The program will operate 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday.
There is no cost for the program.
In addition to coursework in the above topics, students also will be able to participate in career development topics such as resume writing, job interview skills, dressing for success and completing a job application.
Mentoring, homework help, field trips, community service and hands-on training also will be included in the curriculum.
Transportation will be provided to and from the program.
