County’s 4H students enjoy Arbor Day

In celebration of Arbor Day, the Florida Forest Service and the Gadsden County 4H students recently planted 500 seedlings at Bear Creek Educational Forest in Quincy.

Along with the planting, the students enjoyed an adventurous hike on the Bear Creek trail system.

Arbor Day is a nationally-celebrated observance that promotes the benefits of trees in the urban environment and encourages tree planting and care.
