The Gadsden County Department of Health will be setting up vaccine distributions in Chattahoochee and Midway in order to provide outreach for the residents of the two municipalities.
In order to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at either of the distributions, recipients must pre-register and be a age 65 or older Florida resident.
Chattahoochee vaccine distribution
The Gadsden County Department of Health will be distributing COVID-19 vaccines in Chattahoochee on Friday, February 26.
The vaccines will be issued on 35 Jefferson Street (across the road from Chattahoochee Town Hall).
To register for this vaccine clinic, call (850) 329-0685, Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Midway vaccine distribution
The City of Midway is brainstorming new ways to ensure that the city’s older residents are receiving the COVID-19 vaccines.
So the City of Midway is bringing the vaccine to their residents in a new door-to-door program for senior residents.
This plan is also created to work around the fact that Midway has no building large enough to accommodate a physical distribution site.To register the city asks that residents email firstname.lastname@example.org or call city hall at (850) 574-2355.
