Crossroad Charter Academy excels in first year of boys’ hoops state play

The Crossroad Academy Charter School’s boys’ basketball team before the team’s Class 2-A regional final loss to Impact Christian of Jacksonville last Tuesday night. With a 21-7 record, and a berth in the state regional final, Crossroad Academy had a very successful season in its first year of state boys’ basketball competition. Crossroad Academy Charter had only one senior on Coach AnDonte Gennie’s squad (Dominic Moon) this year, as the Scorpions will come back next year as a top contender for the state Class 2-A title.
