Community invited to nominate teachers that deserve to be recognized during National Teacher Appreciation Week
Envision Credit Union has recently announced the launch of a community contest, inviting local community members to nominate a teacher they feel deserves to be recognized.
Envision plans to announce up to 50 winners during National Teacher Appreciation Week, which will fall on May 2-6 of this year.
The 50 educators will be chosen by Envision’s selection committee and each teacher will receive a $100 gift card.
Nominations will close on April 22, and the winning teachers will be announced throughout Teacher Appreciation week.
“Teachers are extraordinary and we recognize that they continue to go above and beyond for the children in our communities, so we wanted to do something fun to honor them,” said Kelli Walter, Vice
President of Community Development at Envision Credit Union. “We are asking the community to join
us in celebrating their favorite teachers by visiting our website and sharing why their teacher deserves to win.”
Teacher Appreciation Week provides a timely opportunity to honor and celebrate all teachers across the nation.
Throughout this week, Envision will share the stories of dedicated educators who have gone above and beyond to ensure students have the tools and resources to learn, thrive, and succeed in and outside the classroom.
Envision asks the community to join them by nominating educators who have impacted their lives.
