Gadsden Arts Center & Museum Executive Director Grace Robinson welcomes a crowd of 260 visitors to the museum last Thursday night for the grand opening of the museum’s Community Connections Expansion Project. With the project, the museum built a Community Gallery dedicated to exhibits of art and crafts by local artists; put together a Walk-in Art Studio & Children’s Gallery for children to work on their own art; expanded and re-furnished the museum shop; improved and enlarged the museum’s collection, storage and art receiving areas; expanded staff offices; and activated another building on Quincy’s historic Courthouse Square.
