Harvey’s recognizes employee after he is featured as Difference Maker

Daniel Green, who works at Harvey’s Grocery Store in Havana, was recognized by his company for being the Difference Maker in The Herald on October 12, 2017.

In the original Difference Maker feature written and photographed by Tammy Dasher, Green said he puts God first and his main thing is compassion and living in the moment.

Green said, “I didn’t have it easy growing up, but everything that makes me mad, I turn to a positive. Happiness is on the inside. If you ain’t got it on the inside, you ain’t got it.”

Southeastern Grocers thanked Green for making a difference and for all he does for the company in a newsletter that went out to all 704 of the stores in the Southeastern Grocers family.

Green said he was thrilled to be recognized by his company and wanted the readers of The Herald to know about this updated information and special honor.
