A Havana resident and his three passengers were uninjured following a hit-and-run accident on Shady Rest Road Saturday.
Joseph Francis Horahan, 50, of Havana, was traveling westbound on County Road 270, Shady Rest Road, when he was struck by a vehicle attempting to pass him in a no-passing zone, according to a report filed by Senior Trooper D. E. Revell of the Florida Highway Patrol.
The other vehicle’s right front struck the left front of Horahan’s 2013 Toyota Camry before leaving the scene and continuing westbound on County Road 270.
According to the incident report, police have no information on the other vehicle or its driver.
