Last day to register to vote in November general election is next week

In order to vote in the general election November 6, 2018, voter registrations must be completed and submitted by next Tuesday, October 9, according to the Gadsden  County Supervisor of Elections’ office.

Voters can register online at www.gadsdensoe.com; or in person at the Supervisor of Elections’ office (16 South Madison Street, Quincy), Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles offices, tax collector’s office (16 Calhoun Street, Quincy), public libraries, and other locations.

Local voters may also register by mail. Forms can be downloaded from gadsdensoe.com or requested by mail by calling the Gadsden County Supervisor of Elections at (850) 627-9910. Completed registration forms should be mailed to P.O. Box 186, Quincy, FL 32353.

Early voting begins October 22. To vote early or on election day, voters must present a valid ID with a photo and signature. For more information, call the local  Supervisor of Elections’ office at (850) 627-9910.
