Thank you for a common-sense piece in the Herald by the publisher, Mr. Pettus.
I agree with him 100 percent regarding the need for a serious conversation between the NRA and our country’s federal, state and local government bodies (and our citizens — not those who profit from the proliferation of guns).
The only thing I don’t agree with him about is that the sale of assault weapons — like the AR-15 — shouldn’t be banned.
As the “March for Our Lives” students and supporters so clearly proclaim …“Protect Children, Not Guns”!
