Please tell Randall Lieberman that the crappie is not a saltwater fish (it’s a freshwater fish, I believe).

Lake Talquin was formed by damming the Ochlockonee and Little rivers.

Another name for crappie is speckled perch.

I lived in Quincy, Florida from age 2 to 17 (I’m now 90) and I can tell you that Lake Talquin is not a saltwater lake.

I live in Brunswick, Georgia now and speckled perch is a much sought-after fish in the rivers and lakes here.

For best results, use live minnows to catch speckled perch.
