Light week for county baseball

Spring Break didn’t account for much county high school baseball action last week.

Only two games were scheduled.

In those contests. Gadsden County High School lost at Lighthouse Christian in Pensacola 10-3 and 11-2 Saturday.

Tyrek Sparks and Jakobe Monyln had two hits apiece during the contests to head the Jaguar effort.

Things pick up this week.

Gadsden High

Gadsden High has and have games scheduled at Corry Field in Quincy. They met FAMU Tuesday and Jefferson County Wednesday before hosting Munroe Friday. The Jaguars then travel to Marianna Tuesday for a game.

Munroe

Munroe hosts John Paul II for a game today (Thursday) before their Friday trip to Corry to play Gadsden County.

Tallavana

Tallavana played at Poplar Springs Tuesday and will host FAMU today.
