The Leon County Sheriff’s Office arrested Robert Moore, 25, on Tuesday, April 17 on charges of attempted first-degree murder and kidnapping to facilitate a felony.
Moore, a Gadsden County resident, is the son of Midway City Manager Leslie Steele.
Moore is one of three suspects involved in the incident.
In early April, there was a controversy as to whether or not Steele was helping Moore evade authorities, sparked by an interview former Midway City Manager Auburn Ford, a known nemesis of Steele both currently and in the past, conducted with a local television station.
