News Brief: Opportunity Florida asks for citizen input to determine northwest Florida needs

Opportunity Florida recently released a survey that will be used to determine the wants and needs of the residents in the Northwest Florida region. The survey is at www.surveymonkey.com/r/OpportunityFlSurvey, as well as Opportunity Florida’s main website, Facebook page and monthly newsletter.

Opportunity Florida – a 10-county rural economic development organization serving Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Holmes, Jackson, Liberty, Wakulla, Walton and Washington counties – asks all northwest Florida residents to take the survey.

Opportunity Florida Executive Director Richard Williams says it is “extremely important” that a wide variety of people respond in order to obtain the best information, which will in turn yield greater economic improvement planning.

The survey takes only a few minutes to complete; it asks questions about the respondent’s perception of the current economic health of the region, as well as what direction responders would like to see it take in the future. Respondents may remain anonymous or leave a name and/or email, all at their discretion. For more information, visit opportunityflorida.com.
