Tallahassee Community College seeks employers to host shadow students Sept. 26 The Tallahassee Community College Career Center is seeking employers to host job shadow students Sept. 26.
Employers who volunteer will host a TCC student for a day-long job shadow experience at their place of business. Participating students will come from all different academic majors, and employers from the business, nonprofit and public service sectors are all invited to participate. In addition to helping a student clarify and strengthen his or her career goals, employers may find that hosting a shadow is a great way to identify a future intern or even a future employee.
The program can also help employers build their brand by connecting them with a local college student who can be an informal brand ambassador for their organization, a TCC press release states. Career Center staff are available to assist employers in planning their job shadow experience.
