Quincy Police foiled an alleged residential burglary last Saturday, catching the suspect in the act and arresting him on site.
Police charged the suspect – Reshard Andrews, 23, of Quincy – with burglary, damage to property/criminal mischief, resisting arrest without violence, and larceny.
According to Quincy Police, at approximately 11:17 a.m., Saturday, June 2, dispatchers received a call that a person was breaking into a residence in the 500 block of South Adams Street in Quincy.
Responding officers entered the residence and found Andrews hiding inside a bedroom closet. The officers arrested, charged and booked Andrews into the Gadsden County Jail. Bond was set at $21,500.
