Pro bass fishing tourney comes to Lake Seminole

As many as 400 anglers are competinge in the Costa FLW Series Southeastern Division professional bass fishing tourney presented by T-H Marine at Lake Seminole from March 1-3. T

he tournament, hosted by the Bainbridge (Georgia) Convention and Visitors Bureau, takes place on Lake Seminole near the convergence of Chattahoochee with nearby cities in Georgia and Alabama.

It is the second of three regular-season events scheduled in the FLW Southeastern Division.

Anglers will be competing for a top award of up to $93,000, including a brand new Ranger Z518C boat with a 200-horsepower Evinrude outboard.

Anglers will take off from the Bainbridge Earle May Boat Basin, located at 100 Boat Basin Circle, at 7 a.m. each of the three days of competition.

Weigh-ins will take place at the Boat Basin on Thursday and Friday beginning at 3 p.m.

Saturday’s final weigh-in will take place at the Bass Pro Shops in Tallahassee, located at 4059 Lagniappe Way, and will begin at 4 p.m.
