U.S. Air Force Airman Carlos E. Alvarez of Quincy, the son of Ivonne E. Jimenez and Carlos Alvarez, and the brother of Belen A. Jimenez, all of Quincy, recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intense, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Alvarez also earned four credits toward an associate’s degree in applied science via the Community College of the Air Force.
Alvarez is a 2017 graduate of Florida State Schools in Tallahassee.
