Reggae Fest Returns to Havana this weekend

The 9th annual Havana Reggae- Fest returns April 7 to the 5F Farms Event Center, located at 8701 Salem Road in Havana.

The Havana ReggaeFest celebrates Caribbean culture through family-orientated activities, music, dance, poetry, arts and crafts.

Lester Sterling Skatalites the band EarthKry and Solo artist Anthony Que, both hailing from Kingston, the Brazilian group Maca Reggae, Just Chameleons, and local acts Jambiance and Gaines St. Percus- sion, round out the festival.

Gates open at 2 p.m., show starts at 3 p.m.

additional activities for kids includ- ing soccer and volleyball games and a Beanie Baby Toss.

A bonfire will be lit at 7 p.m. and the Drum Circle will start immedi- ately after the last act on stage. The event will conclude at 9 p.m.

General admission tickets are $20. Student tickets are $10 w/ID at the gate. Kids aged 12 and under enter free. Parking is $2.

The festival will feature a variety of food and beverage vendors with.
