The Quincy City Commission met April 27 to select its next mayor and mayor pro tem following the municipal elections held April 24.
Angela Sapp, District 2 Commissioner was named mayor on an uncontested vote.
Keith Dowdell, District 1, was elected mayor pro tem, also uncontested.
Both have held leadership roles on the Quincy board several times over the years.
