Sen. Rubio, Rep. Lawson in Gadsden County next week; each hosting mobile office hours

Two U.S. lawmakers, Rep. Al Lawson and Sen. Marco Rubio, will be in Gadsden County next week, holding mobile office hours.

Rep. Lawson (D-Fla.), whose fifth congressional district includes Gadsden County, will hold mobile office hours from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m., Thursday, June 28 at the Gadsden County Public Library, 732 S. Pat Thomas Parkway, Quincy.

Sen. Rubio (R-Fla.) will hold mobile office hours from 12:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Monday June 25 at Havana’s Town Hall, 711 N. Main St., Havana.

Caseworkers and staff will be available at both lawmakers’ mobile offices to meet with citizens to discuss issues such as veteran benefits, Medicare and Medicaid, social security, immigration, IRS/taxation and legislative issues. No appointment is necessary, and walk-ins are welcome.
