Last week, the Carver Heights Senior Center in Havana held a Valentine’s Ball.
The event was held Friday, February 9 th from 10:30am-1:00pm.
There were approximately 75 senior citizens in attendance who enjoyed fun, food and door-prizes.
Music was provided by DJ Chuck, and he kept folks on the dance floor.
With the entire building decorated with Valentine’s Day themed decorations, seniors participated in line dancing and some even partnered up as they went down the famous “Soul Train Line”.
Site Coordinator, Clarissa Davis says, “An event like this gives the seniors an opportunity to come together and experience that love, just like everyone else for Valentine’s Day”.
