Tallahassee Collegiate Academy now accepting applications

Tallahassee Community College is now accepting applications for the Tallahassee Collegiate Academy.

The application window is now open for the 2024-25 academic year. The academy will accept 100 ninth-grade and 25 tenth-grade students for 2024-25 academic. 

Tallahassee Collegiate Academy accepts applications from students from Leon, Gadsden, and Wakulla Counties. The application period will close on Thursday, February 15 and the lottery will run on Friday, February 23, if there are more applications than seats available. Applicants will be notified of their decision on Friday, March 1. 

 Tallahassee Collegiate Academy Offers a first-of-its-kind educational experience in the community where students will earn a high school diploma and an Associate of Science degree in a STEM field, all without the burden of tuition or debt. Graduates will be well-equipped to enter the workforce with in-demand, high-paying job prospects or continue their educational journey. Applicants should demonstrate the ability to work in rigorous coursework and be ready to accelerate to early college through dual enrollment courses. Students must be academically ready for dual enrollment.

Current A.S. degree options span various STEM fields, including:

• Cyber Security

• Computer Programming and Web Development

• Engineering Technology

• Dental Hygiene

• Registered Nursing

• Energy Management and Solutions

• Video Game Design
