Gadsden County has announced its Summer Youth Training Program, designed to allow students the opportunity to obtain work experience in a real-world environment.
For six weeks, participants between the ages of 14 and 18 will be introduced to the workplace, gain valuable employment skills and earn a modest summer income.
Youth selected to work up to 20 hours per week earning $8.25 per hour. The program begins June
11 and runs through July 20. Applications will be accepted until April 27.
Qualifications:
• Student must be a Gadsden County Resident
• Must be between the agesof 14–18 on the date program starts
•“C”or 2.0GPA
• Acceptable school attendance
• Acceptable school conduct
Applications can be obtained from the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners website, the Gadsden County Administrator’s Office, located at 5B East Jefferson Street, 2nd Floor, Suite 201, Quincy, at any of the three branch libraries or local county high schools.

Applications must include a copy of the student’s most recent report card for the 2017-2018 school year that includes the youth’s grades, attendance and conduct.
