Gadsden teens face attempted homicide, armed robbery charges

Three Gadsden County 19-year-old face charges including attempted homicide in connection with an armed robbery and shooting at an apartment complex in Tallahasse.

At 11:28 p.m. last Thursday the Tallahassee Police Department responded to 1505 W. Tharpe St. in reference to multiple calls of a shooting, a Tallahassee police report stated. Upon arrival, witnesses told officers the three suspects committed a robbery and shooting and said the victim was still on scene and unharmed.

All three suspects then fled in a black Nissan, which an officer later located en route to the incident location. Once additional officers arrived, a traffic stop was conducted on Interstate 10, and all three occupants were detained without incident.

Inside the vehicle officers found the victim’s property that was allegedly taken during the robbery and the handgun used in the shooting.

All three suspects, Jordan Thomas, Corry Brown and Myles Dixon, were arrested and transported to the Leon County Detention Facility.

Thomas, 19, Quincy was charged with armed robbery.

Brown II, 19, also of Quincy , was charged with armed robbery and attempted homicide.

Dixon, 19, of Midway, was charged with possession of marijuana under 20 grams, aggravated battery causing bodily harm, armed robbery and attempted homicide.
