UF-IFAS to host Magnificent Magnolias program

The University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agriculture Sciences’ North Florida Research and Education Center will have a Magnificent Magnolias program from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 24.

The center is located at 155 Research Road in Quincy, just north of I-10 Exit 181, three miles south of Quincy, and off the Pat Thomas Highway (State Road 267).

Learn about magnolias around the world, the best magnolias for our area, and the role of native magnolias in our Southeastern forests. Afterwards, view the many magnolias in the center’s botanic garden and purchase some for your garden.

Finally, enjoy a complimentary lunch with organizers and other participants.

If you want to register, send the names of those who wish to come to friends@ifas.ufl.edu or call (850) 875-7105.
