March is Women’s History Month – and in honor of the many wonderful, powerful, significant, and influential women of Gadsden County, the Gadsden County Board of County Commissioners and Gadsden County Veterans Service office will be hosting a Women’s History Month luncheon.
Free and open to the public, the luncheon will feature Commissioner Brenda Holt as its guest speaker.
The luncheon will honor the female veterans of the county, so any woman who has served in the armed forces to protect and defend her country is especially invited to attend.
The luncheon will be held this weekend, Friday, March 18, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.
It will take place at the Gadsden County Extension Building, located at 240 West Jefferson Street, in Quincy.
