The University of Florida Institute for Food and Agricultural Sciences’ North Florida Education and Research Center will have a six-part gardening education series between February and mid-April. T
he series runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The sessions are as follows:
• “Getting Started With Your Garden” – Tuesday, February 27;
• “Container and Raised-Bed Gardening” – Tuesday, March 6;
• “Tour of the Center” – Tuesday, March 20;
• “Growing Your Own Herb Garden and Composting” – Tuesday, March 27;
• “Cooking From The Garden” – Tuesday, April 3; and
• “Harvesting and Post-Harvesting Your Garden” – Thursday, April 12.
Light refreshments will be served.
The center is located at 155 Research Road in Quincy.
